Discover helpful tools in the Runner app

The Runner app is a digital Swiss army knife with tools for any challenge that comes your way — and knowing how to use them can help you personalize the experience both for you and your customers.

Message Templates

Customer communication is key for great tips — and message templates can help you stay in touch with your customer while keeping your focus on the road. Navigate to Settings in the Runner app to create templates for common text messages you might send customers while running.

Many Runners find it helpful to send a quick text at the start of each Favor to let customers know their order is in progress. Others save templates to update the customer at certain stages of a Favor. From Accept Favor to At House, each step of a Favor is an opportunity for a new template!

Runner Card Management

Did you know you can verify, update, or request a new Runner card directly from the Runner app? Under Runner Card Management, you can find information on your current Runner card, where to pick up a new card, or how to have one mailed directly to your house. You can even activate your new card in seconds right inside the app to start making money as quickly as possible!

In addition to managing your card, you can also pick up some pointers on what to do if your Runner card gets declined and how to request a reimbursement through the app.

Early Assignments

Early Assignments are made for Runners who want to increase their productivity and aren’t afraid to multitask. Turning on Early Assignments in the Runner app will give you the opportunity to order ahead and plan out your next Favor as you finish your current delivery.

If you are logged in to accept Favors, you can toggle Early Assignments off and on from the gear icon on the home screen. If you are on your last Favor, it’s a good idea to toggle Early Assignments off so you aren’t assigned a Favor while you’re finishing your final delivery.

Alcohol Delivery

These quick and easy Favors often come with great tips and are perfect when you’re chasing those weekend promos — but if you’d prefer not to deliver these orders, you can turn Alcohol Delivery off anytime under Settings in the Runner app.

Report a Problem

We’re always working to improve the Runner app, and the best feedback we get comes from the Runner community. If you have suggestions on how we can improve, or find a feature that isn’t working as expected, you can report the problem to Favor’s technical support team directly in the Runner app.

Reporting problems is the best way to help us improve the Runner app. When you report a glitch to us, include as much detail as you can to help us locate the problem.
